I would also suggest making up a basket for at home that has nipple cream, breast pads (if nursing), maxi pads, depends/mesh panties, Tylenol, advil, laxaday. My hospital gives Tylenol, advil and laxatives as needed. I’m not in labour but I’m being induced tomorrow, I need fresh air and a walk, I feel claustrophobic and just need to go outside of the hospital for 5 minutes, do you think they’ll mind 0. ![]() Other optional things include perinatal balm or spray, tucks pads, nipple cream. My hospital also has nipple shields, soothers, breast pump, formula and nipples, etc if needed. ![]() Optional: nursing pillow and regular pillows. Toiletries, phone charger, big water bottle. My hospital only provides peri bottle, one pair of mesh panties and as many pads needed (there's frozen ones available as well) for mom so I will just bring some depends/frida mom panties.
